MRS. ADDIE PATRICIA TOMLIN, age 77 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012.
Born in Jackson County, Georgia on March 02, 1935, Mrs. Tomlin was a daughter of the late Hugh Harris Manus and Nellie Martin Parker. Affectionately known as Pat or Patty, she enjoyed reading, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Tomlin was a member of the New Bridge Baptist Church and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her brothers, Joel and Bobby Manus, and step-father, Archie Parker.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Lloyd Tomlin, Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Pam & Johnny Stancil, Cornelia; sons and daughter-in-laws, Rodney & Nancy Tomlin, Mt. Airy; Tracy & Anita Tomlin, Augusta, GA; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 01, 2012 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Verner London, Rev. W.A. Jenkins, and the Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment will follow in the V.F.W. Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
