Adell Wilson McAlister age 89 of Demorest, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022.
Born in on June 8, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Lester Wilson and Ruby Black Wilson. Mrs. McAlister was a homemaker who loved the Lord and loved her family. She enjoyed singing and being a friend to those around her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. McAlister; sons and daughter-in-law, Donnie McAlister (Marilyn) and Charlie McAlister; sisters, Catherine Nations, Eva Mae Tomlin and Frances Wilson.
Survivors included sister, Evelyn Marie Wilson Helton of Cleveland; grandson and spouse, Ronnie McAlister (Paula) of Alto; great grandchildren, Tiffany, Ali and Heavenly Joyce McAlister; six great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, May 27, 2022 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 am – 12 noon on Friday prior to service at the funeral home.
