Amanda Joan Dickens Parks, age 66, of Clarkesville, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
Born on January 29, 1958, in Atlanta, she was a daughter of the late Garland Dickens and Joellen Gravitt Dickens. Amanda worked as a waitress for Sonny’s BBQ and enjoyed playing the piano. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Dickens; and brothers, Steve Dickens and Dwayne Dickens.
Survivors include her sons, Justin Parks and Michael Brandon Parks; granddaughter, Desiree Rose Parks; sisters, Brenda Dickens and Beverly Dickens; several extended family members and friends.
Memorial services will be planned at a later date.
