Andrew Jackson Brandon, Jr, age 44 of Demorest, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on July 18, 1968, he was the son of Dee Thompson of Lula and the late “Captain” Jack Brandon. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his mother, surviving are wife, Glinda Pilling of Demorest; son, Tommy Brandon of Winder; step-sons, Timmy Poole, his wife, Jessie of Winder and Joe Recor, his wife, Angela Woodard of Demorest; step daughter, Kristine Lawrence, her husband, Bradley of Demorest; step daughter, Jamie Higginbotham, her husband, Grady of Alto; brothers, Dennis Armour of Alabama and Floyd Brandon of Lula; sisters, Donna Brandon of Lula, Kathy Murray, her husband Robert of Toccoa; 10 grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 02, 2012, at 124 Habersham Landing Drive, Demorest GA 30535 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
