Ann Marshall Hicks, age 86 of Cornelia, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
Born on August 2, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Sam Hawkins and Edwina Davis Marshall. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Hicks; son, D. Bruce Hicks, Jr.; daughter, Linda Sanchez; and sister, Alline Marshall.
Survivors include her granddaughter & spouse, Alexis & Terry Kinser of Lawrenceville; grandson, Marco Sanchez; brother, Charles Marshall of Union Point; and nephew, Sam Marshall & family of Greenville.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Cornelia with Rev. Blaine Walker and Rev. Jason Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
