Anna Stewart Byrd, 62, of Cornelia, GA, died Saturday January 22, 2011 at the Habersham County Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born May 3, 1948 in Banks County she was a daughter of the late Walter Allen and Ila Mae Leachman Stewart.She was a member of the Lord’s Vineyard and enjoyed traveling, collecting angels, and watching Christian broadcasts on T.V.
Survivors include a dear friend, Roger Scott of Cornelia, GA; a daughter, Amanda Caudell of Cornelia, GA; two sons, Colin Thompson of Sevierville, TN and Amiel Thompson of Cornelia, GA; two brothers, James Stewart and Mark Stewart both of Alto, GA.; one sister, Mary Ann Worley of Danville, VA; six grandchildren, Ashton, Abby and Ariel Caudell and Carli, Caleb, and Chace Thompson.
Graveside services will be held 4 pm Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Level Grove Cemetery.
