Anthony Byrd “Tony” Christopher, age 54 of Lula, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
Born on August 19, 1970, in Duluth, he was a son of the late Tommy Carl Christopher and Evelyn Louise White Christopher. Tony was a former employee of the City of Lula. In his spare time, he could be found fishing or tinkering with old cars.
Survivors include his brother, Andy Carl Chistopher of Lula; stepmother, Sherry Blackwell of Lula; aunt, Annette Davis of Danielsville; uncle, Jerry White (Penny) of Gainesville; several cousins, other extended relatives and friends.
Memorial services are 2 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour on Thursday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, or at www.stjude.org; or to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn.
