August Gustave “Gus” Hauser, Jr., age 73, of Demorest, passed away on November 12, 2014.
Born on March 18, 1941, in Washington, D.C., he was a son of the late August Gustave, Sr. and Rose Marie DiValentino Hauser. Mr. Hauser was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church and was a Holiness minister for a number of years. He was a retired security guard with Mt. Vernon Mills and had also worked as a groundskeeper at Toccoa Falls College. He enjoyed cooking in his spare time.
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Rose Hauser Candeto (Larry) of Orange City, Florida; brother, Thomas Hauser.
Memorial services will be held at 7 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Alto Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Scott Ledbetter officiating.
