Barbara Bryan Moon, age 61 of Lula, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012.
Born in Atlanta, GA on August 26, 1950, she was a daughter of the late John Edward and Sarah Margadean Hicks Hooks. She was a truck driver and member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are husband of 44 years, Don Moon of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Barry Whitfield of Alto; daughter and fiancée, Pamela Lovejoy and Johnny White of Lula; brother, Edward Hooks of Griffin; sister, Margaret Hebert of Crestview, Florida; grandchildren, Tristan Osborne, Sarah Lovejoy, Kimberly Lovejoy, Justin Lee, Bobby Lovejoy, Brittany Whitfield and B J Whitfield; great grandchildren, Lexi Gollhuir, Cameron Osborne and Michael Sanders, Jr.; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Monday, May 14, 2012, at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm on Monday.
