BENJAMIN GEORGE “BENNY” CAGLE, age 73 of Demorest, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
Born in Demorest, Georgia on May 14, 1943, he was a son of the late Isaac Candler Cagle & Mary Montine Gilmer Cagle. Mr. Cagle enjoyed farming for many years. He was a member of the Demorest Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Nellie Derrick and brother, Isaac Charles Cagle.
Survivors include his sisters, Annie Lou Kennedy of Acworth, GA; Inez Carson of Clayton, GA; brother, Gene Cagle of Toccoa, GA; many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Dale and Rev. Steve Doran officiating. Interment will follow in the Timberridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday.
