Bernard “BJ” Trimiar, Jr., age 30 of Cornelia, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the Habersham Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Habersham County on May 13, 1981, he was the only son of Bernard, Sr. and Sandra Brown Trimiar of Clarkesville. BJ was currently employed with Habersham Metal as a shipping clerk. He was a 1999 graduate of Habersham Central High School where he was an athlete of many sports, especially football. BJ was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Clarkesville. He was a comedian who enlightened everyone with his sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, T.J. Trimiar, Pearlie Bell Turner and William M. Brown; and uncle, Kenny Brown.
In addition to his parents, also surviving are two sisters, Sheena and Dana Trimiar both of Cornelia; grandmother, Lillie Mae Williams Kidd of Clarkesville; special loved one, Amanda Harkness of Cornelia; aunts, Pamela Brown of Clarkesville and Jackie Hunter of Alto; uncles, Ricky Trimiar of Clarkesville, Steve and Eugene Brown both of Clarkesville; niece, Kierra Goss of Cornelia, also a host of other family members and close friends.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart. Interment will follow at Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Friday.
