Bernice “Bea” Anderson Caudell, age 85 of Cornelia, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on June 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Ezekiel M., Sr. and Lydia Ayers Anderson. Mrs. Caudell retired from Johnson and Johnson with 25 plus years of service and was a member of Cornelia 1St Presbyterian Church. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed word search puzzles but most of all enjoyed time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Caudell; sisters, Ruth Southard and Eva Chandler; brothers, Zeke Anderson, Dennis Anderson and Fred Anderson.
Surviving are brother, Arthur “Griff” Anderson of Macon; sister-in-law, Barbara Anderson of Cornelia; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Cornelia 1st Presbyterian Church with Rev. Blaine Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-5 & 7-9 pm on Monday.
