Beth Kelly, age 55, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
Beth was born April 26, 1967 in Greenville, South Carolina. In her professional career, she worked as a Dental Assistant, but recently worked with her brothers at Reed Creek Lake Farm in Hartwell. Beth loved working with animals, was an avid fisherwoman, and was of the Christian faith. She loved her dogs, Bella and Gretchen, and especially loved her family.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Kelly and Hazel Gibson Kelly.
Survivors include her daughter, Mekenzie Tipton of Gainesville; brothers and sister-in-law, W. Scott Kelly (Connie) of Hartwell and Craig Kelly of Hartwell; life partner, Shane Smith of Clarkesville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life fill will follow the service at the family home, 792 Tom Cobb Drive, Hartwell, Georgia 30643.
