Betty Ann English, age 72, of Demorest, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, following a short illness.
Born on October 23, 1950, in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late John Ernest English and Charlotte Smith English. Betty was a member of the Silver Sneakers and Fairfield Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Dixon and sister, Dayle English.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, David English (Tracy) of Clarkesville; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Nicholson (Kenneth) of Demorest; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home.
