Betty Williams Gragg, age 70, of Demorest, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
Born on May 22, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Lucille Creasman Williams. While living in Georgia for most of her life, she worked for the Georgia Department of Corrections for many years. She loved the beach and her grandkids, but first and foremost, she loved the Lord. Ms. Gragg shared her faith with everyone and was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Knowles.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jon Wilbanks (Gentri) of Clarkesville and Shawn Gragg (Jennifer) of Baldwin; grandchildren: Kinsley Fowler, Cole Gragg, Kyle Gragg, Avery Gragg, Jovi Wilbanks, Harlan Wilbanks, and Mellie Wilbanks; great-grandchild, Josie McIntyre; brother and sister-in-law, Randy Williams (Imogene) of Mt. Airy; sisters, Patsy Bryant of Demorest and Carolyn Frampton of Villa Rica; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, and friends that she loved dearly.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, June 28, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Scott Smith and Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating. Interment will follow in Demorest City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the funeral home.
