Bonnie Broner, age 60, of Cornelia, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
Born on April 4, 1964, in Demorest, she was a daughter of the late Robert Henry and Hazel Love Alexander Chastain. Mrs. Broner was the office manager at Rudeseal Furniture for several years and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She always enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Broner; brothers and sister-in-law: Jimmy Chastain (Shirley), Van Chastain, and Tony Chastain; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Lucille Helton (Dean), Jeanette Parker (John Ray), Marcelle Wesson, and Vanessa Stewart.
Survivors include her sons and daughter: Evan Appling of Cornelia, J.D. Broner (Bobbie) of Demorest, Joshua Broner of Cornelia, and Stormie Drumwright (Trey) of North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Malissa Helton (Randy) of Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Brenda Broner Perry (Derrick) and Quiddie Cobb Broner, all of Cornelia; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home.
