Brenda Joyce Roach Burton, age 70 of Cornelia, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
Born in Toccoa, Georgia on September 10, 1948 to the late Duard and Louise Cole Roach. Mrs. Burton retired from Deep South Products and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell & Ruth Roach, Hershel & Juanita Roach, sister and brother-in-law, Rachel & Bruce Segars.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, James D. Burton of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Penny Tench of Gastonia, North Carolina; step son and daughter-in-law, Wesley & Tracey Burton of Alto; grandchildren, Zachary Tench, Gentry Brawner, Ethan Burton, Cody Ballenger; 3 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Catherine & Mack Randall of Loganville; sister, Carolyn Jordan; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
