This phenomenal woman, Brenda T. Nicely, graced this world on the twenty-ninth day of December in the year nineteen hundred and fifty. She was truly the mother and friend to so many and was known for opening her home and heart to the countless masses. Time truly waits on no man. Brenda T. Nicely transitioned from this life on March 25, 2017, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Ms. Brenda as she was so aptly known departed for her eternal existence leaving behind to continue her life’s work six children: son, Eddie E. Nicely, Jr. of Gainesville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn (Jasmine) Nicely of Lithonia, GA; son, Kelly M. Nicely, of Gainesville, GA; deceased son, Keary Maurice Nicely; son, Aaron B. Nicely of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Antisha (Paige) Nicely, of Cornelia, GA; daughter and daughter-in-law DeAnne (Stephanie) Nicely-Reeves of Oakwood, GA; also a host of grandchildren, sisters, brother, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.
Brenda T. Nicely devoted her entire life to the service and care of others. Even after retirement where so many others relax and enjoy life, she embraced and raised grandchildren. Brenda also gave the full measure of her devotion to innumerable co-workers while working various positions through out the greater Cornelia, GA, community. Ms. Nicely was also a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Demorest, GA.
A Celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 7pm Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. There will also be a Memorial at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Saturday at 2pm.
