Carolyn Ann King Rucker, age 55 of Cornelia passed away on January 4, 2017.
Born in Habersham County on April 27, 1961, she was a daughter of Juanita Jenkins Rucker of Cornelia and the late Royce R.C. Rucker. Ms. Rucker enjoyed swimming and dancing and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her companion of 25 years, Henry L. Young of Cornelia; son and his companion, Keithy LaRoyce Rucker and Ruthie Haymon of Westminster, SC; sister, Sharon King of Cornelia; grandchildren, Lakeithia Rucker & Deontray White; nephew, Canarius Rucker; nieces, Zion “Pinkie” Hill & Lavanisty Rucker.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Oliver Dorsey officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
