CAROLYN ANN WILLEY MORSE, age 65 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 04, 2013 at the Habersham Medical Center in Demorest following a brief illness.
Born in Saco, Maine on January 28, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Violette Lorraine Gousse Willey. Mrs. Morse was a bookkeeper, having lived for many years in Sarasota, Florida before retiring and moving to Cornelia, Georgia about six years ago. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, and spending time with her family. Carolyn was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 ½ years, Russell David Morse, daughter, Noel Kristen Morse, and a sister, Linda Chadwick.
Survivors include her daughter, Erica Ann Morse, Alto, GA; grandchildren, Kyleigh Goode, Alto, GA; Ryanne Rogers, Tampa, FL; Michael Canady, Dadeville, AL; brothers, Clifford Willey, Arnold Willey, both of Massachusetts; sisters, Patricia Carter, Arizona; Catherine Campbell, New Hampshire; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Mrs. Morse’s wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
