Charles Cane, age 54, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015.
Born on November 14, 1960, in Habersham County, he was a son of Junior and Carolyn Alexander Davis of Mt. Airy. He was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking, building cabinets, fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, survivors include wife, Jackie Rushton Cane of Mt. Airy; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and James Joyce of Mt. Airy; daughter and fiancé, Courtney Cane and Josh Epps of Arnoldsville, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Pam Davis of Mt. Airy; brother, William Davis of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Maddie and Haley Rogers, Kason, Grayson and Jackson Ray Epps and Shawn Joyce; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 4 pm Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Dr. Butch Franklin and Rev. Tony Goss officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Mt. Airy.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
