Christine Ferguson, age 68, of Cornelia, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Born on August 28, 1952, in Stockbridge, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mae Gilstrap Ferguson. Ms. Ferguson was a self employed cabinet maker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed vacationing to the beach and the lake and especially loved spending time with her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Ferguson was also preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Burrell.
Surviving are sons, Christopher Mulvihill and Lance Loudermilk both of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Cody Loudermilk and Chesney Loudermilk; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Ferguson (Anita) and Randy Ferguson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Black (Bill), Shirley Shook (Lamar) and Martha Autry (Eddie); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 pm on Monday, October 5, 2020 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. John Umberhant officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until the service hour on Monday at the funeral home.
All attending should maintain social distancing and adhere to public health guidelines.
