Christopher Chase Raymond, age 24 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014.
Chase was born on June 12, 1990 in Sildell, Louisiana. In his spare time he enjoyed skate boarding, shooting pool, and fishing. He was previously employed with Chipper Tree Service.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John W. Dick.
Surviving are mother and stepfather, Cindi Raymond Savage and J. B. Savage of Mt. Airy; father and stepmother, Chris Raymond and Sandi Raymond of Kiln, Mississippi; identical twin brother, Thomas Chad Raymond of Alpharetta; maternal grandmother, Martha Jo Queen of Starkville, Mississippi; paternal grandparents, Tom Raymond of North Augusta, South Carolina and Kay Vandemark of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; aunts, Paddi Tranchina of Starkville, Arkansas, Nancy Langdon of Alma, Arkansas, Stephanie Robertson of Paris, Arkansas, Barbara Carroll of Rogers, Arkansas, and Jacque Bertelson of Cutler Bay, Florida; uncle, Mark Raymond of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. Interment will follow in Rabun Memory Park in Tiger, GA.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
