Clara Sue Rickman Jachode died December 16, 2018, at Mountain View Health Care in Clayton, Georgia. Born February 2, 1942, she was a 1959 graduate of Rabun County High School and attended Brenau College. She relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida where she pursued a career in retail at J.C. Penney Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Jachode, and is survived by her sons, Wesley Dickerson (Kimberly) of Ashland, Virginia and Larry Dickerson (Marsha) of Monroe, Georgia and her grandsons Ryan, Dayne, Dallas and Case.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Icie Page Rickman and Jesse Newland Rickman, Sr., half- brother Jesse N. Rickman, Jr., and half-sister, JoAnne Rickman Dickerson. She is survived by five sisters, Mary Story, Ruth Dunn, Linda Dinkins, Nancy Burrell, Elizabeth Dixon, and Brenda Cook; two brothers Joseph Rickman, Sr. and Claude Rickman, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
