Claudia McConnell Beck, age 80 of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.
Born in Banks County, Georgia on May 29, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Zelma Elberta English McConnell. Mrs. Beck retired from Ethicon in 2004 as a Suture Thread Waxer with 32 years of service. She enjoyed watching TV, especially wrestling and the Falcons play.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, JW Beck.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dion & Nancy Beck of Cornelia; 2 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Stoney & Kathy McConnell of Cantonment, Florida.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart. Interment will follow in the VFW Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
