CORINE EDITH ARMOUR HUNNICUTT, age 79 of Toccoa, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Habersham Medical Center.
Born in Hall County, Georgia on August 29, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Hancel and Beulah Leach Armour. Mrs. Hunnicutt was the owner/operator of Pop’s Jelly House in Wiley, Georgia. She was a great mother and homemaker. Mrs. Hunnicutt was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hunnicutt, son, Dwight Robert Hunnicutt, brothers, Charles Armour, Claude Armour, and a sister, Gladys Worley.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Anthony Hunnicutt, Toccoa, GA; Terry Lee Hunnicutt, Baldwin, GA; daughter, Tina Cathey McConnell, Baldwin, GA; brothers, Woody Armour, R.B. Armour, both of Lula, GA; Harmon Armour, Cleveland, GA; sisters, Katie Mote, Homer, GA; Susie Bruce, Ellora Cash, both of Lula, GA; Christine Alexander, Commerce, GA; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Demorest City Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Burrell officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday just prior the graveside service.
