Dakota Cordell Beaty, age 25 of Lula, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Born in Ocoee, Florida on July 27, 1993, he was a son of Dale Beaty of Troup, TX and the late Michele Rene Geisler Beaty. Dakota enjoyed time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing his X-Box, music, Harry Potter, and longboarding.
In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Cone, Sr.
In addition to his father, surviving are children, Lincoln Beaty and Nevaeh Blackmon both of Gainesville and Jackson Beaty of Lula; girlfriend, Mary Olivia Marlow of Lula; grandparents, Jean Cone of Cleveland, Franklin & Judy Beaty of Clermont, FL; sister and fiancée, Courtney Layne Sosebee and Tyler Garrett of Cleveland; sister, Shelby Lynn Beaty of Gainesville; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor James Lyons. Interment will follow in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 pm on Monday.
