David Leon Maye, age 47, of Martin, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born in Habersham County on January 15, 1964, he was a son of William Paul and Sarah Anne Maye McLaughlin of Martin. He lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Lamar McLaughlin.
Mr. Maye was a member of Christ Fellowship Church, and employed as a roofer and construction worker with Johns Roofing.
Survivors include son, Albert Maye of Martin; daughters, Leann Rudeseal of Toccoa, and Tessa Maye of Martin; his parents; brother, Doyle Mclaughlin of Martin; sister, Kathy Hamilton of Clarkesville; 2 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services are 10:00 am Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Christ Fellowship Church in Toccoa with Rev. Scott Collett officiating.
