DAVID TRUETT MORGAN, age 53 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 07, 2019 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Indio, California on September 19, 1965, he was a son of Joe Ellis Morgan of Cornelia & Lynn Harris Morgan of Baldwin. David was the owner/operator of Morgan Auto Repair and also worked with Toyota for many years. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. David attended The Torch Worship Center and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include loving wife of 33 years, Beverly Woodall Morgan of Cornelia, GA; sons, Jonathan Morgan of Knoxville, TN; Joseph Morgan of Cornelia, GA; grandchildren, Taylen Morgan & Annabella Morgan; brother, Dennis “Tater” Morgan of Cornelia, GA; sisters, Nancy Zimmerman of Cornelia, GA; Paula Larsen of Toccoa, GA; Jeannie Garrett of Clarkesville, GA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 09, 2019 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Welborn, Mr. Tim Harris and Mr. Joe Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
