Della Louise Blackwell Parker, age 71 of Alto, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016.
Born in Pickens County, Georgia on September 15, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Hollis and Elda Hampton Blackwell. Mrs. Parker was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church in Dawsonville and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Allard Nathaniel Parker; brother, Hulon Blackwell; sister, Rosie Anderson.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Thomas Wright of Canon; sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Paula Parker of Conover, North Carolina and Kenny and Julia Parker of Commerce; brother, J.C. Blackwell of Dawsonville; sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda and Melvin Smith of Cleveland and Bonnell Pitts of Woodstock; six granddaughters and five grandsons.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
