Donald L. Wrenn, age 81 of Clarkesville, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015.
Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, on October 18, 1934, he was a son of the late Clyde L. and Alice Holmes Wrenn. Mr. Wrenn was retired from North Georgia Technical College. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church and also a member and former Past Master of the Clarkesville Masonic Lodge 325 F. & A. M. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball, football, and time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are loving wife of 59 years, Retha Mae Fountain Wrenn of Clarkesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff & Kathy Wrenn and Reid & Louise Wrenn both of Clarkesville; grandchildren and spouses, Jordan & Macon Wrenn of Clarkesville, Brittany & Dustin Allen of Clarkesville, and Shelby & Michael Bramlette of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Harold & Linda Wrenn of Greensboro, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Ann & Butch Solomon of Greensboro, NC; also three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
