Dorothy Mae Perry, age 78 of Mt Airy, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011.
Born in Habersham County on April 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Maebell Fry Perry. Ms. Perry enjoyed reading, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, B.B Perry, Bert Perry and sister, Bonnie Nix.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Earnest & Lillian Perry of Mt Airy, Eugene & Carolyn Perry of Mt Airy, Phil & Wanda Perry of Cornelia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ovaline & Sidney Abernathy of Calhoun, Genevieve & Kirby Ward of Calhoun; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Glade Creek Baptist Church.
