Born in Demorest, Georgia on January 8, 1968 to the late James L. Tench and Fannie G. Allen Tench. Mr. Tench was raised in White County, moved to Hiawassee and then Blairsville. He had previously worked for Swansons Contracting.
Surviving are his wife, Sheryl Rogers Tench of Blairsville; brother and sister-in-law, Andy & Judy Tench of Alto; sister, Pamela Tench of Seneca, South Carolina; step-son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Ginger Wood of Hiawassee; step-daughter and son-in-law, Shelly & Shane Haney of Young Harris; step-grandchildren, Faine Wood, Luke Woody, Lane Haney and Livia Haney; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Ethan Howard.
