Edwin “Calvin” Freeman Nix, age 74 of Toccoa, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.
Born on February 13, 1945, in Clarkesville, he was a son of the late Gordon and Thelma Louise Fry Nix. Mr. Nix was formerly employed as a sub-contractor with Georgia Power and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Nix was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Nix; son, Gary Floyd Nix; daughter, Tammy Lynn Nix.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Bohannon of Toccoa; brothers, Leon and Terry Nix; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
