MRS. JUNE MOORE BARRETT, age 79 of Cornelia, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012, at her daughter’s residence.
Born on May 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Akin and Gladys Evans Moore. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and reading. She was a faithful and active member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and church family.
Survivors include husband of 49 years, Herman Barrett of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert & Donna Barrett of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & David Bentley of Cornelia; grandchildren, Johnathan, Allison and Will Barrett; sister, Jerri Murphy of Hoschton; sister-in-law, Helen Barrett of Cornelia; nephews, Rick and Perry Murphy of Hoschton; special caregivers and family friends, Denise and Lamar Coleman of Cornelia.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Chattahoochee Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Anderson and Rev. Bill Gravley officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Tuesday.
