ESTA ROGERS ADDIS, age 93, of the Batesville Community, Clarkesville, Georgia moved to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
Born in the Plum Orchard Community of Rabun County, Georgia on April 24, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Emma Nicholson Rogers. Mrs. Addis was a member of the Old Nacoochee Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Addis and siblings, Horace Rogers, Morris Rogers, Hubert Rogers, Ruth Eller, Ree Eller, Gertrude Smith, & Bonnis Rogers.
Survivors include her children, Buford & Betty Addis, Beauty Mae Massengale, Buren Addis, Bonnie & J.G. Mullinax, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Irene Eller, Fredericksburg, VA; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Going Home services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Nacoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
