Eunice Cotton

Eunice Mae Sisk Cotton, age 86 of Lula, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010, at the residence of her daughter following an extended illness. Born in Banks County on May 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Minnie Moss Sisk. Mrs. Cotton was retired from the Cobb County School System and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, E. B. Cotton; son, Pat Cotton; brothers, Mac Sisk, Ted Sisk, Layman Sisk, Auburn Sisk and Bill Sisk. Surviving are daughters and son-in-laws, Mildred & Randy Dickerson of Cumming, Vicki & Larry Davis of Taylorsville, GA, Toni & Tony Spears of Roanoke TX; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie & Colleen Cotton of Porterville, CA; sons, Jolly Cotton of Burbank, CA, Johnny Cotton of Lula; daughter-in-law Aracely Cotton of Marietta; sister, Blattice English of Homer; brothers, Joe Sisk of Marietta and Gene Sisk of McCloud, CA; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 12:00 pm Friday, August 27, 2010, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Jimmy Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow in Line Baptist Church Cemetery.
