Felton Glenn Turner, age 60 of Alto, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Born on September 27, 1964, in Demorest, he was a son of Hazel Myers Turner Howard of Alto and the late John William Turner. Felton worked for Mt. Vernon Mills for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the guitar, four wheeling, and especially spending time with his family. Particularly, he loved his grandchildren who called him “Papa”. He attended Yonah Congregational Holiness Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, L.G. Howard.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Vivian Dixon Turner of Alto; son, Michael Turner of Alto; daughter, Melissa Turner of Alto; grandchildren, Caleb, Cadance, and Carson Turner; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffery Turner and Mark Turner (Tammy) all of Alto; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are 2 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Yonah Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Leon Brown and Daisy Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Eric Holcomb officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the funeral home.
