Francis Edward Allen, age 86, of New York City, New York, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
Born on August 3, 1928, in New York City, New York, he was a son of the late Francis Bernard and Brigid Duggan Allen. Mr. Allen was formerly employed with New York Telephone and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a patron of the New York City Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre and also enjoyed listening to classical music.
Survivors include daughter, Theresa Allen Crawford of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Patrick L. Crawford and Emily B. Crawford; brother, Arnold Allen of Naples, Florida; sisters, Joan O’Brien of New York City, New York and Sr. Patricia Allen, RSM of Hartsdale, New York.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
