Freddie Lee Reems, Sr. age 60 of Homer, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 17, 1963, he was a son of the late James Thomas Reems and the late Peggy Nell Reed. Freddie retired as a truck driver with Densmore, Inc. after 24 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, he was a MOPAR enthusiast who loved to work on cars, as well as working with his vegetable and flower gardens. Most of all, Freddie loved his family tremendously. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Lula.

In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his son, Freddie Lee Reems, Jr.; and by his brother, Tommy Reems.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Debbie Galloway Reems; daughter & son-in-law, Peggy LeAnn Reems White & Caleb Mackenzie White all of Homer, GA; sisters, Annette Modesto of Murphy, NC; Gayle Taylor of Demorest, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Steve & Susan Reems of Homer, GA; Bobby & Beth Reems of Jefferson, GA; Melissa Reems of Lula, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

A Celebration of Freddie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024 at The Grove Church in Maysville, Georgia with Rev. Tim Beasley & Rev. John Wood officiating.
