Born in Athens, Georgia on August 2, 1952 to the late Frank Samuel Wood, Sr. and Flonnie June O’Kelley Wood. Mr. Wood was a sales associate with Lowes.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Amabel J. Wood of Mt. Airy; step-daughter, Tabitha Chandler of Commerce; 5 grandchildren; brother, Frank Wood, Jr. of Suches; sister, Susan Jobe; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mr. Wood’s wishes were to be cremated.
