George Ralph Tench, age 71 of Demorest, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, following a brief illness.
Born in Habersham Mills, GA. on March 17, 1939, he was the son of George M. and Laura T. Tench. Mr. Tench retired from Scovill Manufacturing with 39 years of service.In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sisters, Eunice Crump, Annie Ruth Dover, Muriel Poole; brothers, Robert Tench, William Tench, John B. Tench, Carroll Tench and Henry B. Tench.
Surviving are loving partner of 33 years, Wade Norris of Demorest; brother, Grady Tench of Demorest and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
