Glenda Ayers Irvin -- age 64 -- of Demorest, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at her residence.
Born at the historic Charm House in Clarkesville, GA, on June 04, 1947, Mrs. Irvin was a native and a life-long resident of Habersham County. The daughter of the late Simeon Barton and Minerva Kimsey Ayers, Mrs. Irvin attended Harvest Christian Church and was employed as the Chief Clerk of Habersham County Magistrate Court.
Survivors include: Husband, Kenneth W. Irvin; Brother, Johnny Ayers of Clarkesville; Daughter, Lori Beth Irvin of Demorest; Daughter, Delaine Irvin Blazek and Son-In-Law, Martin G. Blazek; Grandchildren, Jonah, Noah, and Micah Blazek of Naperville, IL, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Harvest Christian Church. Officiants include: Rev. Keith Allison, Rev. Rick Cox and Rev. Charles Black. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home from 5-7 pm on Friday, August 26, 2011.
