Hazel Jeanette Wright Hogan, age 80 of Cornelia, GA, passed away on February 14, 2015.
Born in Winston Salem, North Carolina on May 28, 1934, she was a daughter of the late John Wright and Beulah McMeans Wright.
Mrs. Hogan was a homemaker and an avid gardener, seamstress and upholsterer. She attended the First Christian Church in Jacksonville, FL and Charleston, SC and was a deaconess in Orman Beach, FL. Hazel was a dedicated wife and mother, her most cherished roll.
Surviving are husband, William Glenn Irwin Hogan of Cornelia, GA; son and daughter-in-law, William Glenn Irwin Hogan, Jr. & Aesuk Han Hogan of Christiansburg, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Allison Hogan Grogan & Victor Grogan of Alto, GA; grandchildren, Kayla & Amanda Grogan of Alto, GA.
Memorial services are 2:00 pm Monday, February 16, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. All family and friends are requested to assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 pm Monday prior to the service.
