Hazel Loudermilk LaCount, age 71 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Habersham Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on June 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Walter, Sr. and Lola Avans Loudermilk. Mrs. LaCount was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. LaCount; daughter, Cheryl Ann LaCount; brother, James Walter Loudermilk, Jr.
Survivors include son, Rodney LaCount of Mt. Airy; daughter and son-in-law, Dorleen & Keith Holland of Mt. Airy; sisters, Zebbie Ballew of Cornelia and Gertrude Williams of Commerce; grandson, Shane Poole and great grandchildren, Kirsten, Alanna and Bianca Poole.
A private service for Mrs. LaCount will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Torch Children’s Building Fund, 800 Cannon Bridge Road, Demorest, GA 30535.
