HEATHER LYNN TURNER, age 27, of Cornelia, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Hall County, Georgia on January 06, 1988, she was a daughter of Stevie L.C. Turner & Lisa Kay Helton Turner of Cornelia. Heather was a 2009 graduate of Habersham Central High School. She enjoyed listening to music, going to gospel singings, being outdoors, and most of all spending time with her family. Heather attended True Life Church of Cleveland and was preceded in death by her grandfather, L.C. Turner; and niece, Allyson Jade Ferguson.
Survivors in addition to her parents include, sister and brother-in-law, Crystal & Justin Ferguson, Cornelia; grandparents, Dorothy Turner, Alto; Earl & Lenoria Helton, Cornelia; nephew, Jacob Ferguson, Cornelia; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Pugh, Rev. Laura Rose, and Bishop Clarence Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the B.C. Grant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 5 p.m. & 7 until 9 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015.
