Hesequiel Hernandez, age 60 of Cornelia, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017, at Habersham Medical Center.
Born in Abasolo, Guanajuato on January 12, 1957, he was a son of the late Simion Hernandez and Maria Martinez.
Surviving are wife, Sanjuana Hernandez of Cornelia; sons and daughters-in-law, Luis Hernandez & Maria Serrano of Cornelia, Roberto Hernandez & Sylvia Martinez of Mt. Airy; daughter, Marcela Hernandez of Clarkesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Rosa Hernandez & Alfredo Irineo of Cornelia and Maura Hernandez & Antonio Martinez of Mt. Airy; several grandchildren; brothers, Joaquin Hernandez of Cornelia and Jose Luis Hernandez of Athens.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2017, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1243 Hulsey Rd, Cleveland, GA 30528, with Fr. Fabio Alvarez officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. Hernandez, 228 Chatham Ave, Cornelia, GA 30531, beginning at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2017.
