Hubert Carroll Ferguson, age 64 of Cornelia, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Habersham Medical Center.
Born in Habersham County on January 28, 1950, he was a son of the late Lee Ferguson and the late Rinda Tomlin Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a supervisor with Mt. Vernon Mills. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and reading.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Millard and Bernadean Ferguson and brother-in-law, Lewis Davis.
Surviving are sisters, Runette (Hershel) Ansley of Cornelia, Elizabeth (Paul) Burch of Washington St., Muarl Davis of Jefferson, and Lenell (Benton) Free of Clarkesville; also 15 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Larry Free officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery Pastor Terry Rice.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
