Jacqueline “ Jay” Toner Seymour, 94, of Toccoa, Georgia, formerly of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021.
Mrs. Seymour was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Toner. She was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, volunteer and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Seymour was preceded in death by her husband Robert Seymour and by nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Gloria Seymour; son, Thom Seymour; grandsons, Thom and Kerrie Seymour, Gerry Seymour and Maria Kuroshchepova; great-grandson, Liam Seymour. Brothers include, David and Molly Toner, Donald and Irlyn Toner; sister, Donna (Cookie) Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
There will be a prayer service at 2pm, Monday, March 29th at McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 4pm.
Additional services and burial will follow at a later date in St. Augustine, Florida.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Habersham County Animal Care and Control, 4231 B, Toccoa Hwy, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523.
Those in attendance are asked to please wear facial masks and adhere to the public health and social distancing guidelines regarding COVID-19.
