James Lawson Mobley, III, age 69 of Lakemont, GA, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Fulton County on January 10, 1943, he was the son of the late James Lawson, Jr and Sallie Weaver Mobley. Mr. Mobley was a self employed flight instructor and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, James Lawson, IV and Holly Mobley of Lakemont; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Len Putnam of Moreland; sister, Betty Carroll of Fairburn; grandchildren, Emily & Lawson Mobley, Julie Ann Ramsey and Lensey Putnam; great granddaughter, Lyla Dewberry.
A private service will be held at a later date.
